Delia

Delia is an ancient Greek epithet meaning "of Delos," the island where the goddess Artemis and her twin Apollo were said to have been born. It later became an independent name in English poetry and everyday use. Notable bearers include American novelist and reformer Delia Bacon and chef and broadcaster Delia Smith.
