Erato

Erato is an ancient Greek feminine name derived from eratos, meaning “lovely” or “beloved.” In Greek mythology, Erato is one of the nine Muses and is especially associated with lyric and love poetry, often depicted with a lyre. Her role gives the name enduring literary and artistic significance. Erato is also used in modern Greece and Cyprus. Notable bearers include Cypriot diplomat and politician Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis and Greek musician Erato Kremmyda.
