Khadija

Khadija is an Arabic name meaning “premature child.” It was the name of the Prophet Muhammad’s first wife, a wealthy merchant and widow whom he married in 595; she was the mother of all his children except one and became the first person to convert to Islam after Muhammad received his first revelation 15 years later.
